This coffee is grown and processed by small-scale local farms located in and around the Konga Keble district, Yirgacheffe. These farms sit between 1900-2100 masl. and are grown amongst maize & other fruit crops essential for food supply in Ethiopia.

Small holder farms contribute 95 percent of all coffee production in the Yirgacheffe region, and are policed by their union, a farmer-owned democratic organisation where democracy is fully exercised.
