16.00

TOFFEE, PAPAYA, BLACK TEA, SUGAR PLUM

SOUTHERN PROVINCE RWANDA

This coffee is produced by Buf coffee is an inspiring story of founder Epiphanie Mukashyaka a dynamic business woman whom set her mind to rebuild her life after losing her husband and child in the horrific genocide in 1994. Epiphanie’s late husband was a coffee farmer, and she decided focus on rebuilding and developing this business by creating Buf coffee together with her sons, Samuel and Aloys who now manage the business. Epiphanie built a washing station with help from the PEARL programme (re-establishing agriculture in Rwanda, aimed at transforming the coffee market to one with a far higher-earning speciality market).  Today Epiphane owns two washing stations and has improved the livelihood of her family as well has neighbouring farmers, and wider local community. Not only is this a delicious coffee, we are proud to purchase and roast it in support of Buf coffee.
